Vic: Victim's son wants level crossing upgraded
The children of three people killed in a level crossing crash in Melbourne's north-west
last week have called on the state government to act immediately to prevent another similar
tragedy.
LILA and ROLANDO ANTONIO and Mrs ANTONIO's workmate SANURAN MUAREMI were killed on
Thursday at the level crossing in St Albans.
Mrs MUAREMI's son MERLIN says people have been agitating for years about the intersection.
He's told the Herald Sun newspaper his mother died because the state government didn't
want to spend the money for a bridge or an underpass.
