Vic: Vic govt issues fire ant warning to Qld holdiaymakers
The Victorian government has issued a warning to residents holidaying in Queensland
against inadvertently bringing vicious fire ants into the southern states.
Victorian Agriculture Minister BOB CAMERON says fire ants are commonly transported
to new locations in soil, potting material, mulch and turf as well as in machinery.
