Chorister celebrates 70 years of song.

Long serving Les King to have tribute concert

Chorister Les King is celebrating 70 years in fine song with a special concert later this month.

Mr King, of East Road in Langford, joined St Andrew's church choir at the tender age of eight and has been singing since, even overcoming a stroke that temporarily left him unable to speak.

And he is also a member of Biggleswade and District Choral Society and a founder member of the Locrian Chamber Choir, which is presenting the special concert on Sunday, July 22.
